The Chelsea quilt jacket is a very practical & versatile jacket, it can be worn as a warm layer under a waterproof outer, or as a warm jacket over a sweater in colder days but at this time of the year it comes into its own as a standalone jacket.

Springtime can see a significant variation in weather and temperatures throughout the day so its handy to have this versatile jacket with you when you are out and about.

As we know an Irish Male thinks its Summer at about 15* and starts to shed his Winter layers in the day time but generally the Spring chill returns in the evening where the Chelsea Quilt comes in to its own.

The Chelsea quilt is slightly fitted, with tabs at the waist to reduce the waist further, the cord standup collar is a nod to the barbour heritage, it is slightly shorter in its fitting but this really only shows up in a taller customer, so if you are 6’/182cm you might consider an alternative

The Chelsea comes in 3 colours Olive, Navy, Black  we find that it is very difficult to discern any colour difference between the navy & black so we have chosen the navy as our colour of choice.

The Chelsea sells all year around and comes in XXS to 4XL, however it tends to become a little boxy in the bigger sizes of 3/4XL.
